About Pediatric ENT Associates
Pediatric ENT Associates is a group of six doctors specializing in diagnosis and treatment of a full range of pediatric ear, nose, and throat conditions. Each doctor is fully board-certified and has an up-to-date medical license from the state of Alabama. Pediatric ENT Associates treats children ranging from infants to age 18.
Some of the specialties of Pediatric ENT Associates in Birmingham include cochlear implants for children with profound hearing loss, treatment of vascular malformations and congenital ear deformities, placement of myringotomy tubes for children with recurrent ear infections, and endoscopic sinus, tonsillectomy, and adenoidectomy surgery. Pediatric ENT Associates have the use of the Children’s of Alabama hospital as well as an outpatient center conveniently located near the hospital in central Birmingham.
Each Pediatric ENT Associates specialist regularly publishes in peer-reviewed medical journals, as well as gives lectures both regionally and nationally. Dr. Woolley is conducting an ongoing research study about the effects of cochlear implants on the daily lives of children who have had the surgery, including how they perform at school and at home.
